Feminism exists to fight patriarchy and make women and other non-masculine genders recognized as whole human beings. Cinderella (2021) is a modern musical film based on fairy tale of the same name by Charles Perrault. Cinderella (2021) contains about feminism and gender inequality that occurs in Ella’s environment. This study analyzes the main character, Ella, and the liberal feminism values represented by the main character in Cinderella (2021) film. The aims of this research are to find out the character of Ella while fighting for her dreams and her desires and to find out the values of liberal feminism, which are reflected through Ella's character. This thesis uses a qualitative research method, where data is collected through librarian studies such as books, journals, articles, and other sources. Then this thesis is studied using character and characterization theory by Boogs and Patrie and liberal feminism by Rosemarie Tong. The result of this research, first Ella has five characteristics, namely optimistic, independent, supportive, ambitious, and brave. Further, Ella's character is reflected through liberal feminism in three conditions. The first is that Ella’s bravery in showing her dream, the second is that Ella fights for what she wants, and the third is that Ella managed to break the stereotype. In this film, Ella proves that women also can have dreams and do what they want.
