This research is aimed to discover stereotype theory focusing on gender stereotype analysis in Hercules and the Amazon Women film, directed by Bill L. Norton. The objective of this research is to know how the women stereotype is described in Hercules and the Amazon Women film. This research uses it to get the data on stereotype aspect especially for the gender stereotype that appears in the film. They also emphasized by the evidence from the dialogues between characters and pictures that captured by the writer in order to simplify her to analyze it. The data are non-numeric and collected by some books and they are analyzed by reading, underlining, classifying, and identifying. This analyses also explains certain events which relates to other events. Therefore, the method used are descriptive and qualitative. This film also supports the gender stereotype. The writer finds some issues of gender stereotype such as woman should be under the protection of man because she is weak creature, as a domestic chore worker, unimportant, spiteful, unexpected, sensitive, and liar. Women in this film are portrayed unappreciatedly. The women are often put in lower position than a man is, and they are not allowed to have the same business as a man does. Therefore, they are tries to struggle her right and position which is equal with man.
